PLAYING TENNIS IN CAMBRIA IS A REAL LOVE AFFAIR

The best thing about tennis in Cambria is the love of the game that every player brings to the beautiful courts at the Coast Union High School campus on California’s Central Coast.

Skill levels vary, so there’s always a match for you. Cambria Tennis Club members enjoy singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, and new groups are always forming. Over the years, foursomes have settled into regular play days and times, and there is a consistent need for subs. Our popular Saturday Drop-In tennis is a fun way for locals, part-timers, and visitors to meet fellow players and enjoy friendly competition.

The late Jim McCoy began organizing the club in 1990, and by the following June, Cambria Tennis Club was officially established. Drop-In tennis started in 1992 under Ed Simonsen, for whom the court complex is named.

Throughout the years, Cambria Tennis Club has maintained and improved the six scenic courts, and has supported Coast Union High School tennis teams with financial support and coaching assistance. The club sponsors tournaments and hosts annual social gatherings, fostering camaraderie and community.

Tennis in Cambria begins with a love for the game and the joy of playing. Cambria Tennis Club is always welcoming new members who want to connect with fellow tennis enthusiasts and to enjoy the best of Central Coast tennis.
