PLAYING TENNIS IN CAMBRIA IS A REAL LOVE AFFAIR

The best thing about playing tennis in Cambria is the love of the game that all players bring to the courts in the beautiful setting on the Coast Union High School campus.

As in tennis clubs everywhere, the skill levels vary, so there are always players to match your game. Cambria Tennis Club players enjoy doubles, mixed doubles and singles. Over the years, foursomes have settled into regular play days and times, and there is a consistent need for subs. New groups are often being formed as well, and our Saturday Drop-In is a great way to meet and play with club members and guests.

The late Jim McCoy began organizational efforts in the summer of 1990, and by the following June, the Cambria Tennis Club was official. Drop-In tennis began in 1992 under the guidance of Ed Simonsen, for whom the court complex is named.

Throughout the years, Cambria Tennis Club has maintained and improved the courts, and has supported Cambria's Coast Union High School tennis teams with financial support and coaching assistance. The Cambria Tennis Club sponsors club and open tournaments and hosts annual social events.

Cambria tennis begins with love and a joy in playing the game.
